Ingredients:
*1 cup gram flour.
*2 cups sugar.
*1 cup ghee. (2 tsp ghee for roasting flour).
*1/2 cup water.
Preparation:
*Grease some ghee on a plate and set aside.
*In a pan,heat 2 tsp of ghee and add the flour. Roast the flour on medium flame till the raw smell goes.
*Place this in a cup.Add 1/2 cup ghee and mix well. This is done so lumps are not formed when pouring in the pan. Set aside.
*Add the water and sugar to a pan and allow to boil on medium heat.(till one string consistency.)
*Now add the flour-ghee mixture.
*Add the remaining ghee in intervals and keep on stirring.(10-12 mins)
*At first it would stick to the pan,later the mixture would come together.
*Switch of the stove and pour the mixture in the greased pan.It would spread by itself.
*Let it cool for a minute or two,grease the sides of a knife and cut out in any desired shape.
*Let it cool for 5-10 mins,then mysore pak is ready to serve!
